Raspberry Piña Colada Smoothie

I just blended this up, and it’s inspiring! It’s a bit sour, because of the raspberries. Yet, that tartness and the pink sits atop the base of authentic pineapple and coconut pleasantly. As the summer gets nearer, this smoothie would be a wonderful addition to any sunny day. I made mine virgin since it’s noon on a Thursday, but a splash of rum would get the party started!

Throw all this into a blender and then hit the highest power button until a continuous whirl pool forms on the top.

1 banana

1 cup yogurt

1/2 cup frozen or fresh raspberries

1 cup frozen pineapple chunks

1/3 cup water

1 tablespoon dried coconut

It’ll be thick, so put a spoon in it!

* The thing with smoothies is that in the blending process the contents will warm up a bit. This is why if you like your smoothie cold always add a frozen fruit or ice.
